Meet the Artist
Adela's oil portraits speak, giving voice and form to long-ignored women of the past. Growing up in a coastal village surrounded by orange groves, her love for art and psychology blossomed early and grew into a career in graphic design. A serendipitous story of a forgotten heroine who fought for her city's freedom inspired Adela to dedicate herself to sharing such stories through her paintings. Today, her work is internationally celebrated, with public and private commissions.
Adela's artistic approach blends classical painting techniques with contemporary sensibilities, creating a dynamic dialogue between past and present. Her work spans various mediums, including Gyotaku, oil, acrylic, wax, paper, and rabbit skin glue, on recycled surfaces like wood, linen, cotton, and printed materials. Through these mediums, Adela strives to highlight the stories of thousands of brave women overlooked in history by tracing their lineage and connecting it to the present. Modern touches such as tattoos and light reflections bridge the gap between past and present, showing how today's women are daughters of the past.
With boundless curiosity, Adela is excited to share the importance of connecting with our ancestral past, reminding us that we are all heirs to the resilience and strength of those who came before us. She can't wait to welcome you into her artistic universe.

Squares offer charming village vibes and a reprieve from more bustling destinations. If nature is what moves you, explore the beaches, swim in the sea, or take a train to hike the unforgettable mountains of Montserrat. The year-round Mediterranean climate and relaxed pace of life provide an atmosphere that few cities can replicate. Adela says, "Barcelona is one of the best destinations to fully enjoy all those things that connect us with happiness."
