Meet the Artist

Marie is a French/Andalusian multidisciplinary artist who seeks to break the boundaries between textile and sculpture. Her work, influenced by her background in interior design and her fascination with the Bauhaus movement, spans painting, sculpture, wall hangings, and installations—all focused on fabric and thread.

Her artworks are characterized by their abstraction, three-dimensionality, and a deep exploration of material and volume, making her a unique voice in contemporary textile art. Marie blends techniques like Shibori, wool felting, weaving, eco-printing, and embroidery with a commitment to sustainable practices using natural dyes, wool, and silk. Her creations, influenced by Asian art and the idyllic landscapes of Andalusia, embody a meditative quality, reflecting the principles of slow art and an unbounded creative vision.

Marie loves meeting new people and exchanging ideas, believing art is a powerful way to connect with nature and others. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge and learning from others and can’t wait to share her whimsy with you.
