Artists: Natália and Hernan

Natália and Hernan are Latin American ceramists and sound sculpture artists based in Oaxaca. Through pioneering experiments, they have developed innovative methods for crafting sculptures that produce captivating sounds. Their shared practice is an homage to ancient Latin American cultures and a celebration of the profound connection between ceramics, sound, and the natural world. Together, they are some of the few ceramicists worldwide with expertise in creating ceramic sound systems.
