I was in need of de-stressing and getting out of my comfort zone in order to revive my creativity. The experience exceeded my expectations. I felt fully immersed in Junpei's life, from working in his studio, to meeting another ceramic artist and getting to know more about his partnerships. It was a complete unknown to me before the VAWAA and thus a great way for me to see if ceramic art is something I could envision to pursue in the future.
