I consider myself an artist but I don’t currently work in the arts. The opportunity that VAWAA offers perfectly combines my love of travel, learning, and the chance to create a focused work. Anaïs was a perfect match as I was already planning to be in Paris, and I have a life long interest in textile design and natural dye, specifically indigo.

I have a better understanding of how the dyeing process really works. I’m looking forward to doing more practice when I get to visit other indigo studio.
