I only had a short amount of time to travel. My favorite way to travel is to really get to know the local experience, and I knew that if I had just gone to Mallorca by myself, I would have just felt like I was only participating in the community on a very surface level. Especially because I don't speak the language.

The VAWAA really helped me get to know the culture really well in a short amount of time. It's insane that I was in Mallorca for less than a week and it feels like another home to me.
