Nepal was definitely on my bucket list. I also love the opportunity of learning something new and learning about the community that we are visiting. I learned about VAWAA after researching a friend who I met when visiting Morocco. Macrina, from Oaxaca who was doing an artist exchange with our host in Morocco with Thread Caravan.

 We plan on using bamboo in some upcoming projects here in the US. Some wall surrounds  and perhaps a gate similar to what we built in Nepal.
