My week with Macrina was an unforgettable and enriching experience. Her mastery of barro rojo pottery and her passion for teaching were evident in every step, making my time with her both inspiring and immersive. From harvesting clay in the mountains to processing it by hand, creating pieces, and finishing with a traditional firing, every aspect was meaningful. Macrina and her family are incredibly kind and genuine; I immediately felt welcomed into their home and community. Sharing delicious meals, heartfelt stories, and laughter with them added an extra layer of warmth to the week. I left not only with new skills but also with treasured memories and a heart full of gratitude.
