I went on another VAWAA to grow in my craft and challenge myself beyond my usual boundaries. I was hoping to explore new techniques and expand my artistic perspective. Experiencing a different culture firsthand was important to me, both for inspiration and personal growth. I love meeting and connecting with incredible people along the way.
VAWAA allowed me to develop my skills in ways I hadn’t before and gave me the confidence to experiment more boldly in my work. I gained new perspectives from both the culture and the people I met, which has inspired fresh ideas for my practice. The connections I made (with artists, students, and others) have created a supportive network I can continue to learn from. This experience will continue to influence my work and approach, pushing me to grow creatively and personally in the future.
