I came across VAWAA when I was looking for a space to do an art residency to learn more about specific methodologies of working with clay and couldn’t find anywhere to do it. Then I’ve found an artist who was working at VAWAA that was an expert on those areas and I decided to try it out. First of all I learnt new skills and that was exactly what I was looking for. I was surrounded by the most beautiful and inspiring space, I’ve got to know other artists and creatives and on top of that I created a piece of work completely different from what I was used to. So I look forward to continue working with all these techniques and explore new ways of creating.
