I was looking for an experience in studying art in Japan, that was more than a superficial, very short course. I did a lot of searching, and really VAWAA was the only thing that had what I wanted. They were also very helpful in responding to my questions. I learned a lot of fundamental things in Japanese ink painting, that I hope to carry into my art in the future.
