I went on a VAWAA because I have a desire to support living artists and weave some unique experiences into my travel adventures. It’s such a great way to immerse yourself in another culture while learning a new craft or enhancing your skills in a particular area. These are real people, living and working where you are and such a great way to glean knowledge from a local that can help you better plan your trip. I had a once in a lifetime experience and a private mentor in one of the most fascinating places on Earth! I’ll never forget the time I spent with Mariana.
