This is my second time participating in the wonderful VAWA program, and once again I am extremely impressed with the perfect organization, the high quality of the workshops, and the tremendous help provided with every detail. I will definitely continue to travel with VAWAA and am extremely grateful for this valuable and unique experience.

In just 20 hours, I created a traditional Sicilian marionette with a handmade costume and real armor, all completely from scratch. It has always been my dream to work with a professional puppeteer and learn the secrets of the craft and the history of the famous Sicilian Pupi. Daniel and his family made this dream come true, and I can’t wait to return and learn even more from this incredible artist.
