Painting with Ezshwan was such a learning experience. I walked in as almost a complete novice. She explained everything from "soup to nuts" and I appreciated all the patience she had shown me while demonstrating different techniques she has used and what she discovers new everyday. Of course, that was all followed by my attempt to get into it. All mishaps are fixable and the wax medium is very forgivable. Looking at her own body of work has inspired me. I have just ordered a couple of tools, wood boards and bees wax to get me started now that I am home. In addition to the classes, she took me to some of the best cafe's, invited me to the art galleries and recounted some of the history of the artistic community and buildings that house many works of local artists in San Miguel de Allende. Ezshwan is so full of knowledge and energy.
