I love art and working hands on. VAWAA was a great way to have a unique, art-centred experience overseas and it really added depth to my holiday. I also enjoy staying and getting to know a place for more than a couple of days. I completed a restoration of a small wooden piece, plus gilded a wooden frame, made egg tempera paint and etched an artwork to fit in the frame. What I learned and experienced with Lina was something I would never have had the opportunity to in Australia.
