Kourtney

Going on a VAWAA allowed me to combine two things I really enjoy, pottery and traveling. I had been to Mexico a few times before, but never to Guadalajara, so experiencing a new city was also fun. I was also looking to learn from someone new, their techniques, materials, and ways of working.

I wanted to focus on texture, so I was able to try different techniques and materials. This experience opened my eyes to different possibilities when it comes to ceramics, that will inspire my practice going forward.
