My visit to France was to visit friends and I wanted to also explore the possibilities of working with French fiber artists. In my research for such an artist workshop, VAWAA was almost on top of the list that 'popped' up.

Her works on felt are incredible and 'the next step' in what techniques I would like to experiment with. She was most encouraging in explaining steps of processes I was not familiar and I remain excited to work further on the skills she introduced. I feel the workshop was a complete success for me.
