I am an artist and had longed to go on an artist retreat. A family member purchased a VAWAA gift certificate for me. I currently work in fabric arts and I wanted to expand my current skills to learn new methods, particularly dyeing and quilt construction. I was happily surprised with my results. I completed a wall piece. This experience will definitely help me in expanding my future works into more developed and thought-out compositions in fabric.
