I attended this VAWAA on instinct as I have been interested in sound and frequency as a healing modality for many years and as soon as I thought I'd like a temple bell for my natural therapies practice I found this on opportunity via a Google search after looking for bell makers in Australia. As most bells are cast and not beaten like this was it was an opportunity to use an ancient craft/art to create an instrument by hand and I was intrigued.
My hand made Orin bowl will hold a special place in my collection of instruments and is used daily. It sounds and looks so beautiful - I am very pleased with the result. I will be using it as part of my therapy practice to aid clients learn meditation and find peace. Using ancient wisdom to help with modern day stress is one of my passions.
