I’ve been perusing vawaa experiences for a couple years; I’m particularly interested in a relief printing workshop because I’m working on improving my skills in this medium. I knew I wanted to share the experience with someone and I was lucky to entice my sister to come to England with me.

It’s always great to get a new perspective, so working with Merlyn was both reinforcing of some of my practices and introduced me to new techniques. I made work that was influenced by hers as well as the stunning surrounding landscape, and I feel more confident in experimenting with mark-making going forward. Merlyn was very supportive. Also it was a bonding experience for me and my sister.
