I wanted to know Japan in more than the usual tourist way, seeing sights and shopping. Three days of a VAWAA creative experience with the extraordinary textile artist, Koko, gave me not only knowledge about dying, spinning, and weaving, but also a wonderful glimpse into Japanese culture. It’s not really about "helping" me in the future, it has more to do with enriching my life in general.
