Shireen

This trip is part of a Sabbatical that I am on where I work with artists around the world.  I have gone into all of the VAWAAs with an open mind about what I would create and so far that has worked fine for me. I am happy to work with the artists to find something that is both challenging, but doable within the time frame that is given. I have yet to be disappointed. I truly love meeting people from different cultures and backgrounds, and I don't think this is something that can be achieved by just being a tourist.

I definitely want to do more work with fabric. This has inspired me to explore this medium more. I also cannot wait to return to Edinburgh!
