I discovered VAWAA when I was looking for a quick vacation somewhere within Canada, preferably with the ability to learn more about felting. VAWAA and Marjolein were able to accommodate this need. I went to Marjolein's about a month after I started looking! I spent 3 full days learning 3-dimensional felting, colour and material interactions, and techniques that care for the fibres and my body. Marjolein and I have both had repetitive strain injuries, and she's developed ways to felt that reduce these risks. I'm excited to put what I learned into practice with my own felting projects.
