Lovely experience about an hour from Tokyo that I thoroughly enjoyed. Yuko introduced me to her work, washi making and Origata at a relaxed pace, and she and her family welcomed (and fed) me warmly. The trip I took with her in Kochi to see traditional washi making and to try it myself in the artisans’ studios was really special - thanks as well to Myu-chan, Dai-Chan and Tamara-san for having me!
