Initially my goal was to just take a vacation and learn about botanical dying. But then it seemed like a perfect get away present for my son and I to experience for his 18th birthday. We not only learned about dying and weaving, but we learned about Zapotec people, culture, and history. An extraordinary memorable experience we will take with us forever.

Well I certainly have been asking myself what took so long to visit Mexico! My goal was to learn botanical dying so I could incorporate the skill into art and my business. Instead of opening a door, I opened a giant flood gate! I'm inspired in endless ways, and I look forward to seeing how the inspiration unfolds 🙌🏼💃🏻
