I was hoping to refresh and expand my dyeing practice. I wanted to combine travel and learning, especially Ebru which is not taught widely.

I could not recommend this stay more highly. During my residency I had the opportunity to learn and practice Turkish Marbling thoroughly, as well as gaining important understanding of the mysticism and philosophy which surround this ancient art form. I will definitely incorporate the newfound knowledge in my practice, in fact it will probably send me on a different path. I am very grateful for what I have learned and experienced.
