I spent four days learning how to screen print on pottery with Andrea, and it was a truly wonderful experience from start to finish. Andrea was an exceptional host and teacher, creating a comfortable, welcoming environment where learning felt both enjoyable and rewarding. Her instruction was clear, thoughtful, and well-paced. As someone new to this technique, I really appreciated how she guided me step by step while encouraging creativity and experimentation. I thoroughly enjoyed the learning process and was delighted with the pieces I created by the end of the stint. Beyond the studio, Andrea generously shared local food, culture, and history, which made the experience feel much richer. We shared meals, stories, and some beautiful nature walks, all of which added to the warmth of the stay. Another lovely touch was that Andrea took beautiful photographs throughout the process and of the finished creations, leaving me with wonderful memories of the experience. Overall, this was a meaningful, inspiring, and memorable learning experience. I highly recommend spending time with Andrea to anyone interested in ceramics, screen printing, or simply learning from a skilled and generous artist.
