It all started when...

For me, VAWAA offered a way of experiencing a new culture in an immersive and creative environment which ticked my travel criteria box.  It's a wonderful feeling to throw yourself into the unfamiliar and unleash your creative juices.  We hoped to meet cool people and learn a new skill whilst exploring a less trod corner of the earth- and we came away very satisfied with the experience.

We came away with some beautiful prints that we plan on framing and putting up!  As well as a new appreciation for the delicate art of film photography and darkroom printing.  Unfortunately we don't have a dark room, but a good working knowledge of working film cameras was achieved, and I hope to continue exploring this in the future.
