It was a gift to me after completing my PhD. I only had one expectation, and that was to learn how to skilfully do mosaic, and I did. This experience resulted in learning multiple skills and processes related to mosaics and creating a beautiful piece I believe I still can't be in just four or five days! Additionally, I experienced even more aspects of French culture than my other trips to the country which was really special.
