I am so grateful for the time that I spent with Loretta and Marlene. I learned traditional Gee's Bend quilt making techniques and walked away with a handmade piece I'll cherish for a lifetime Everyone I met was so sweet, and I appreciated the ample history available, from the welcome center to the signs featuring quilts around town. The home I stayed in was clean, cozy and comfortable. I can't say enough good things about my experience and will treasure it for a lifetime.
