Pottery is something that we are studying as a couple and we thought that it would be both a cultural and skill building experience. Being immersed in a Zapotec village was very special! The cultural aspect was definitely more intense than the skill building one in our case. It definitely enhanced our trip and brought a sense of adventure and accomplishment beyond your average travel experience. We have some lovely pieces and some beautiful memories, as well as a few new tricks. We have even discussed inviting Macrina to Canada for a local workshop!
