I decided to do this because I love Gee's Bend Quilts. I saw the opportunity and spontaneously booked it. I was hoping to learn the process of making and the history behind Gee's Bend Quilts.  Other than that, I had not expectations. And it was amazing! The result was that I learned a lot about myself and that it is not scary or uncomfortable to travel solo. I was pretty proud of myself.
